Since 1976 Nicholas Mosse has been producing his exquisite pottery. From humble origins Nicholas has trained local craftsmen in traditional skills and techniques which make his products unique.

Every piece of Nicholas Mosse Spongeware has been created with enormous care. Every jug, mug, bowl or plate has been handmade, slipped, turned and hand decorated with cut sponges and paintbrushes. At the workshop Nicholas Mosse uses local clay to give his pottery its unique, distinctive soft feel and look.

At Boland Kinsale we maintain a close relationship with Nicholas and can arrange for special requests.
